Oregon Promise Grant

The Oregon Promise is a state grant that helps cover tuition costs at any Oregon community college for recent high school graduates and GED® test graduates. Students must apply during their senior year or immediately after GED® test completion.

For students who graduate between March 1, 2025 and June 30, 2025, the application is open to apply.

Award Amounts

Award range for full-time, full-year students:

2025-26: $2,202 to $4,584

Program Updates

MAY 2025

  • Students who graduate between March 1, 2025 and June 30, 2025 must apply now!
  • Class of 2025 has a tentative SAI limit of 18,000. This will be re-evaluated in mid July 2025 to adjust or finalize the limit.
  • Students who are receiving the grant in the current academic year (2024-25) must submit the 2025-26 FAFSA or ORSAA by June 1, 2025 to be considered for the upcoming year. Renewal students are not subjected to the SAI limit for 2025-26.
