eASPIRE
What is eASPIRE?
An Internet-based version of ASPIRE. Like ASPIRE, eASPIRE provides
one-on-one mentoring to high school students. The curriculum is delivered by volunteer
e-mentors utilizing a secure, monitored web-based system. All coordinators and volunteers
are carefully screened and trained and are given specific tools and techniques to
develop this unique relationship with students. E-mentoring removes the time constraint
and geographic availability issues that often limit volunteer recruitment. Sites
must choose to be either an eASPIRE site or a traditional ASPIRE site.
