Our webinars provide up-to-date information about Oregon grant programs, scholarships, financial aid application assistance, and support via live Q&A. Our webinars are available at no cost. Session 1: Overview of Apprenticeships and Pre-Apprenticeships for the Trades

Description: Join us for part one of a three-part series called Trades Step by Step. Our hosts will offer an overview of the trades, pre- apprenticeships, and apprenticeships what they are and how they work. This session will be recorded and available later.

Session 2: Trades Apprenticeships Resources plus unions and non-unions

Description: Join us for part two of a three-part series called Trades Step by Step. Our hosts will take a deeper dive into the trades, apprenticeships, unions and non-unions and career opportunities. Participants will learn how to utilize the functions on the BOLI website to help students and job seekers find an employer in trades. This session will be recorded and available later.

Session 3: Interviews for Apprenticeships, Ranking System and Preparation

Description: Join us for part three of a three-part series called Trades Step by Step. Our hosts will help you learn what it means to navigate an interview in an apprenticeship program. How the apprenticeship programs use their ranking system and how a student can help prepare themselves for a future in the trades.
