The FAFSA or ORSAA Filter Tool

To be eligible for most types of financial aid students must complete either the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or Oregon Student Aid Application (ORSAA).  

For the 2026-27 school year: 

If you are unsure which form to complete for the 2026-27 school year, please answer the questions below. Based on the answers provided, you will be instructed to complete either the 2026-27 FAFSA or the 2026-27 ORSAA.

For the 2027-28 school year:

If you are unsure which form to complete for the 2027-28 school year, please log in to your OSAC Student Portal account and answer the initial pre-screening questions found within the 2027-28 ORSAA form once the application is open (anticipated to open October 2026). Based on the answers provided, you will be instructed to complete either the 2027-28 FAFSA or the 2027-28 ORSAA. The 2027-28 ORSAA is anticipated to open October 1, 2026.
